Abstract

One of the well-known methods for measuring partial discharges in insulation systems of high voltage electric power devices is the indirect inductive method. This method makes use of sensors based on inductivity effects. This paper points out the amplitude-frequency characteristics of sensors and its measurement by response to Dirac pulse.
