Thermal degradation of insulating systems
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article deals with thermal ageing of transformer oil based ferrofluid at initial stage of ageing. Influence of ageing in this article is observed on changes of electrical capacitance, whose represents structural changes in liquid insulation. For better evaluation are all experiments made in frequency range from 100 Hz to 2MHz. Except the influence of frequency on capacitance of these samples it have to be noted that concentration of magnetic nanoparticles in these fluids, which also affects capacitance of samples. Keywords: Magnetic fluid, transformer oil, thermal ageing, oleic acid
